Q1.         What were the three questions of king?

Ans.      The three questions of the king were:
1)     What is the most important time to start some work?
2)     What is the most important work to do?
3)     What is the most important person?


Q2.         Who gave the answer of these questions?

Ans.      An old man, who was lived in a jungle and known as saint. He gave the answers of these questions.


Q3.         What steps did king take to find out the answers of his questions?
Ans:      He asked his minister to announce that whoever answer these questions would get a reward of 5000 gold coins. He called the wire and learned man of his country to his court, to discuss these questions. The king dressed as a poor man and went to the jungle to seek the advice of wise saint who live there.
Q4.         Why did the bearded man want to kill the King?

Ans.      The bearded man was the bitter enemy of the king because the king got his brother killed that’s why he wanted to take revenge to the king.

Q5.         Why was king not satisfied with the answers of wise and learned men?
Ans:      Many wire and learned man came to the court. The king discussed the questions with them for many days. The king was not satisfied with the answers because they could not agree with one another. All of them gave different answers.
Q6.         What was the old man doing when the king reached there?

Ans.      The old man was digging the ground when the king reached there.

Q7.         What is moral of the lesson “the secret of success”?

Ans.      The moral of this lesson is that the most important time to start any work is present, the most important work to do is what we are doing now, and the most important person is the one whom we with at the moment.             

Q8.         Why did the bearded men became the faithful servant of the king?
Ans:      When the bearded man was seriously wounded by the things servant, the king looked after him. He bandaged his wound and stops the bleeding. For this act of kindness the bearded man forget his desire for revenge and became the king’s servant.
